You will notice that under the blog header- there is a newly added tab labelled “Payroll”. Once you click on it, you will notice a form that you will be required to fill out at the end of each pay period. Under Docs to go, you will notice a schedule of when each payroll is due and must be submitted. I will be posting some reminders through the blog and through my weekly updates but please remember that it is your responsibility to submit ALL of your correct hours on time. If you have any questions about the form or the process, let me know.
Hope you all had a great weekend.
First off, please NOTE that this weekend’s training will be at the Gambrel Barn (located off Tremaine Rd) and where we host our annual ski swap and Banquet at the end of the season and NOT at the museum Barn as indicated in my last blog post. Please follow the directions that you have been given through the snow school about times for the training and location, do make sure that you sign in as well so I can pay you!
Lastly. please bring your contract (complete with banking- even for returning coaches) on the weekend. I will see some of you as I will be there on Saturday!
have a good week all!
Check out the latest info about uniform return. Please make sure that you follow the steps outlined and if you cannot return it on any of these dates, ask a friend to do so for you. Thanks for an awesome season and hope you all have a fantastic March Break!
If so, you have until the end of the next pay period to fill out this Form with your information, save “as” it on your own computer and email it back to me as an attachment. ALL expenses must be sent to me before March 23rd or else, they will not be able to be processed for the season. Do not include the KM’s as I will google map these from GE (which is standard practice) and ensure that all KMs match hill locations for everyone. Please be honest and fair and only bill the club for races that you drove to with your own car. Expense cheques will be handed out at the banquet. If you have any questions, send me an email
thanks everyone and to all heading somewhere to ski over the March Break- have a fantastic time!
JHL coaches, please be on snow for 8am on Saturday to help with setting your race. As you know, we are short bodies on Sat so please be on time to help Will ensure that all is set for your last timed race.
Sunday teams/coaches, please be on snow for 8am- this should give you plenty of time to set in time for racers at 9am!
I know in my beginning of the week blog post I specified that we would only be training SL on Friday at Moonstone- plan is SL in morning and GS in afternoon. That means that you will need both sets of skis and all gear. Please come with your chin guard and pole guards already set-up & plan on taking it off at lunch (unless you have 2 helmets!). For those attending, plan is:
meet at Base logde for 8:20am
Train from 9am-3pm
Hope to see many of you there as it should be a fantastic day of training!
Congrats again on a job well done to all the MHRC teams this weekend- we again achieved some pretty amazing results! Hats off to coaches and athletes for doing such a great job! Keep it up guys. So we are hitting the mid point- this is usually when we start getting tired and start “slacking off” so let’s keep up the momentum. Please continue to email your coordinators/managers your start list way ahead of time (i.e. latest on Monday evening of the week before) to spare them the energy and effort of going after you. Continue to keep your teams informed of what equipment to bring for training during the week as well as details for the weekend’s race. A reminder, that evals are due this week, they MUST be looked at by your team leader before being handed out (NG- Kent, K1- Brook, K2-Ian and J- Rick). If you need help with these, look at my previous post for more info.
Here’s this week’s udpate:

As discussed last evening with the NG and K1 coaches, it is your responsibility to check if you are getting paid, I submit your payroll sheet and the conservation Halton HR department sets up your direct deposit. Please make it your mission to check every 2 weeks to see if you have been paid, this way if there is a problem- we can deal with it in a timely fashion. Thanks for your cooperation on this.
a reminder that ALL hours from Dec 30th up to and including Jan 12th should be filled out by Tuesday Jan 11th 12noon. Thanks for your help in ensuring that hours are filled out on time, makes my job wayyy easier! also, if you know that one of your co-workers isn’t all that great with checking the blog, be a pal and let them know too.
Hi all, again my apologies for the few different emails, schedules and updates for those racing and not racing for the weekend- I am still waiting for a league schedule from AOS BUT I received an email last night confirming those who are racing this weekend and where. Coaches, you should have received this email from me last night also, but here it is for everyone to see:
Group 2- Rockies- SL at Craigleith
Group 1- Red- SL at Devil’s GLen
Group 2- White- SL at HOME GE/Milton
If your team does not appear on the above list, as far as I know, you are training this weekend. Again, this is the most current schedule, so disregard any previous information you may have received. As soon as I receive the schedule I will post it on the BLOG! Reminder that if you are training this weekend, coaches, you are required to be on snow for 7:30am! thanks!
P.S. a last minute reminder about start lists- if your manager/coordinator still doesn’t have your start list… email it asap please.
